Every time I start tails once the computer is connected to the internet a message pops up saying: This version of TAILS contains security holes.
Is TAILS set to contact a server automatically upon connection?

Yes, but the script simply accesses the Atom feed and does not send any identifying information to us. If you want to look at the script it's located in: /usr/local/bin/tails-security-check
