Is the next version of tails going to have Gnome 3? Just wondering.

Sorry. No, the next version of Tails won't have GNOME 3. The version of Tails that will be based on Wheezy likely will.

Tails design document states that its target user is the average user in terms of computer literacy. We feel GNOME targets the same userbase and is thus a good fit for Tails.

Feel free to start your own project if you feel differently, be it based on Tails or not.
