Is there a way to change the size of a persistent volume when you are making one?
I want to make a persistent volume but I dont want it to be the default size that TAILS is trying to make it.

Create it first, resize it afterwards.
The way persistence works is deliberately plain simple: one USB stick, one Tails, one persistence volume, one persona. Anything else will require extra work on your side.
