Tails - 2 Different external IPs shown

IP show on TOR Check link is different from IP shown through Google IP check or other websites.

I don't know if that is supposed to be normal.

However, it is important to note, that neither of the IPs is my real external IP.

Still don't know why they would show 2 different IPs.

Tor picks a new exit node every so often (10 minutes I think) so it probably just switched in between checking on the two sites.

Tor always have several circuits ready to be used. And those circuits can be used in parallel. So it can use at the same time one circuit to reach Tor Check and another circuit to reach Google IP check, and thus appear as coming from different IP addresses. Nothing to worry about.
